IFSC Climbing World Championship 2011

Weder Paris noch Moscow konnten die kleine Gemeinde Arco am Gardasee im Trentino stoppen, nun ist es amtlich die Internationalen Free-Climbing Weltmeisterschaft 2011 – auch IFSC Climbing World Championship 2011 genannt – wird vom 5.Juli bis zum 24. Juli 2011 in Arco am Gardasee stattfinden. Sicher waren ein Argument für das Entscheidungsgremium die gute Organisation der bereits bestehenden Veranstaltung Rockmaster World Championship in Arco am Gardasee. Die IFSC Climbing World Championship 2011 bietet auch einige Neuerungen in diesem Jahr – so wird es dieses Mal die neue Disziplin Team Speed geben , dann für Körperbehinderte geschaffene Events und die erste Paraclimbing-Weltmeisterschaft. Einen besseren Platz als in Arco konnte man für diese IFSC Climbing World Championship 2011 nicht finden – wir freuen uns auf spannende Wettkämpfe.
